Here, there, and everywhere....

Hi, everybody. Dr. Nick here.......no, wait. It's just me. Lots of stuff going on. The wife joined Weight Watchers back in January, and it's approach could not be more opposite to my new eating habits if it tried. It's like Jack Sprat, but gender swapped.

Most of the big holidays are over, now. With Easter just behind us, there shouldn't be any more defending myself for not eating all the food on the table or for not having cake with everyone else. At least not until the next holiday cycle.

I'm 75lbs down, right about now. At first I really didn't think I'd be able to get much lower than 300lbs but now I'm thinking 250 isn't that far out of the picture. My brain is almost at the point where it wants to start adding the gym into the mix. If I can get myself to regularly trek out to the garage and do some heavy bag work, then the gym will be the next step.

I know this one isn't as fun or pithy as usual, but I really just want to get into doing this regularly. Coming up with all the pictures and pretty put more pressure on it, so keeping it quick and simple seems to be the next best step.

Wow...

I'm officially at 50lbs (22.7kg) lost since starting my new way of eating. It's kind of crazy that in 3 months, I've managed to reach this place. 

My wife convinced me to make a bet on HealthyWage, so if I manage to get down to 300lbs (136.1kg) by 2019/01/08 then my $25 a month ($300) pay-in will net me a $1072 pay-out. I've been doing weekly weigh-ins and right now I'm 7lbs (3.2kg) ahead of schedule.

Really not having any desire to break, so let's keep going and I'll check in again later.

Apparently I can't run a blog.....

I really did have every intention of regular updates and espousing on things that I'm going through during this journey.....but then I forget.

I'm not going to put a ton of silly pictures in this post, because I know I haven't given the link to anyone and no one is reading this. It's just for me. Maybe that's why I don't update so often.

Anywho, here's the last batch of progress pictures.

I don't really see much of a difference from December, but I can feel it. Clothes fit looser, belts are on their last notch, wedding ring coming off inside the oven glove....Stuff like that.

I'm 2 months into this and I'm now at 379lbs (171.9kg). That's a full 40lbs (18.1kg) lost. Not to shabby. The wife just started Weight Watchers, so our meal plans are at war. LCHF vs LF only. You can pry my cheese and butter from my cold dead hands, woman!
